Welcome To Your Los Angeles Pocket Wildlife Refuge!

This site has been restored and enhanced using native plants in order to attract pollinators and create a suitable habitat for the native wildlife of Los Angeles. Conservation and restoration in urban areas can improve air and water quality, increase biodiversity, and even reduce heat island effects. Some native plant species included in this space include:

  • Narrowleaf milkweed

  • White sage
