This sacred place, protected for time immemorial, could now be auctioned off to the highest bidder. We expect they will attempt to begin lease sales prior to the November election.

In this time of the ever-increasing threat of climate change and the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression, this Administration is bulldozing ahead to destroy the most pristine and iconic National Wildlife Refuge in the country. Home of the Porcupine Caribou herd. The site of numerous polar bear dens. The birthplace of millions of waterfowl that live in the wetlands near us all.

The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge should be left untouched. This place is wild and remote, and we cannot bear the risk of drilling there.
