An Update On The Delay Of Mail Donations

As you may know, the U.S. Postal Service has been extremely delayed in the delivery of packages and mail during the holiday season. Because of COVID-19 and the increase in volume, holiday packages, cards, and letters are slowly showing up on our doorsteps. This has also been the case for our supporters donating towards our end of the year campaign.

We have slowly started to receive mail and donations from the month of November and December, while some donations have actually been sent back to donors with the “undeliverable” yellow sticker. Please let me assure you that our office and organization still exists. If you made a donation that was sent back to you, you are welcome to try and send it again to our organization. If you would prefer to make a donation online, you can do so here: https://www.refugeassociation.org/donate

If your check has not been cashed, then we have not received your donation yet. We are hoping that we will be able to get this missing mail but it is unknown at this time. If you would like to reissue a check, please contact our Director of Development, Courtney Lewis, at clewis@refugeassociation.org or 202-577-3200.

We truly appreciate your cooperation during these unforeseen circumstances and appreciate your patience as this problem is worked out.
