Marvel at the Beauty of the Nevada Wilderness (NV)

According to their website, Friends of Nevada Wilderness is “dedicated to preserving all qualified Nevada public lands as wilderness, protecting all present and potential wilderness from ongoing threats, informing the public about the values of and need for wilderness, and restoring and improving the management of wild lands.” Their mission involves more than 70 wilderness areas and national wildlife refuges in Nevada. As far as refuges go, Friends’ stewardship work focuses on protecting the Sheldon NWR and the Desert NWR Complex. This no doubt feels like a tall order most days, but we imagine that scenes like these will bring joy as they also energize, inspire, and motivate.
